Why plastic and not glass, for example?
Estrafrutta does not cook with hot pasteurization, but uses high pressure (HPP) to ensure its safety. This innovative process subjects the prepackaged juice, therefore already in the bottle, to high pressures without heating it, which would risk compromising the vitamins and taste of fresh fruit.
Glass would not resist this process, breaking at the end of the treatment.
Conclusion? When you buy juice in glass, you buy cooked juice. When you buy Estrafrutta, you buy cold-pressed fruit and vegetables. Without preservatives, with the taste of fresh fruit and intact nutritional properties.
